Bulk SMS: common questions
What is the difference between promotional and transactional SMS?
Transactional SMS carries information the customer expects, such as OTPs and order updates. Promotional SMS markets products and is limited to customers who have not opted out and to permitted hours. Each uses its own route and approvals.
How long does DLT approval take?
It varies by platform and how complete your documents are. Many businesses finish within a few working days. We review your documents first to avoid rejections.
Can I send SMS from my own software?
Yes. Use our REST API or upload files through the console. Delivery receipts come back by webhook.
Do you support regional language SMS?
Yes. Unicode messages are supported, and the console shows how many SMS segments each message uses.
What happens to messages that fail?
